The PRF-TER-012 is a precision 2.92mm male coaxial termination rated DC - 40 GHz, handling 50W with a maximum VSWR of 1.35:1. It gives unused test and equipment ports a clean, well-matched 50 ohm load.
One part covers DC - 40 GHz, spanning the complete 2.92mm / K-type band. A single termination handles bench calibration, system spares and port protection, so you are not caught with an under-rated load when test frequencies move higher.
The 1.35:1 maximum VSWR keeps return loss low and the response flat, so measurements stay close to simulation. The precision resistive element holds a consistent 50 ohm load across the full band.
The precision male interface mates repeatably with 2.92mm and K-type jacks. Tight interface geometry keeps alignment and contact resistance stable through repeated connections.
A black anodized aluminum heat sink dissipates heat away from the resistive element, while the connector body stays in passivated stainless steel for a stable, corrosion-resistant interface.
A gold-plated beryllium copper contact delivers low, stable contact resistance and resists oxidation, preserving the 50 ohm match and signal integrity over the service life of the part.
The finned aluminum body safely dissipates 50W, keeping the load stable during extended use while remaining compact enough for bench and system mounting.
