A Type N heat-sinked male-to-female coaxial attenuator delivering high 40 dB rejection across DC–18 GHz in a heat-sinked 25-watt body. Built around a controlled 50 Ohm resistive element with a bidirectional, reciprocal network that can be installed either way, it provides predictable signal reduction and a well-matched load for RF and microwave test, measurement and system use.

The 25 W housing balances compact size with adequate thermal mass, suiting in-line signal reduction where a bare 2 W part would be over-stressed.
▸ High 40 dB Rejection for Deep Level Control
At 40 dB the part handles aggressive level reduction where cascaded lower-value pads would be bulky; the broadband element keeps the response controlled even at this high attenuation setting.
▸ DC–18 GHz Broadband Rating
The internal coaxial element is kept short and controlled to deliver a smooth response across DC–18 GHz, keeping attenuation flat and VSWR low across the full microwave band through Ku.
▸ Rugged Type N Threaded Interface
Type N's robust coupling and larger contacts support the power rating and repeated mating typical of base-station, bench and industrial RF use, while maintaining a clean 50 Ohm match to 18 GHz.
▸ Bidirectional – Install Either Way
Bidirectional operation removes orientation concerns on the bench or in production; the same matched 50 Ohm performance is presented in both directions across DC–18 GHz.
▸ Tri-Alloy Plated Brass Body
Tri-alloy plating over brass protects the housing and maintains consistent electrical contact in demanding, high-channel-count RF systems.
